Jazz virtuoso Teemu Viinikainen celebrates the release of his first solo album at G Livelab Tampere. We’ll also see the documentary “Hiljaisuus… ja äänen synty”, which includes discussions of Viinikainen and actor Hannu-Pekka Björkman concerning the birth of sound.
Teemu Viinikainen is one of Finland’s best-known and most distinguished jazz guitarists. An emphasis on expressional power, swing and virtuosity are key elements in his playing but, above all, it is his strong presence, delicate touch and the subtle sound of his instrument that make the most immediate impression on the listener.
If the event is not sold out, there will be student tickets available at the door for 15 € each (student tickets not sold online) before the show starts. Please show your student card when purchasing student tickets. The concert has no age limit. Children under school age can enter gigs free of charge.
