Covid-19 guidelines
Safety and special regulations during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19)
Due to the coronavirus pandemic situation, the Tampere Jazz Happening will pay special attention to the safety of the festival venues. We follow the guidelines given by the officials and take measures to reduce the spreading of the disease. Please follow the guidelines presented here in order to take care of your own and other people’s wellbeing.
Special arrangements
- The number of seats at the festival’s concert venues have been reduced so that it is possible to have 1-2 meters of safety distance between persons. At Pakkahuone, there will be tables of two and four persons. At the Telakka venue, there will be fewer than normal seats in use during the coronavirus restriction measures.
- Disinfectant will be provided at the customer service desks at the concert venues, at the restrooms, along passageways, and at the bar counters.
- At the concert venues, there will be one-time-use masks as well as washable cloth masks for sale.
- Ticket sales for the events will take place only through the Tiketti website. This allows us to minimize close contacts between our customer service personnel and the audience, as well as to avoid handling cash currency. We request that the audience would prioritize card payments instead of cash during the festival at the restaurants and at the merchandise stands.
Follow these guidelines
- It is forbidden to attend a concert if you have arrived in Finland within 14 days from a country that is red or grey in the traffic light model by THL, if you have any symptoms typical to the coronavirus or if you are in the chain of exposure to the coronavirus. Read more about the typical symptoms from the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare THL.
- Please avoid close contact with other festival participants. Remember the safety distance also at the queues to the restrooms and when you exit the venue at the end of the events.
- Please wash or disinfect your hands at least when you enter the concert venue, when you visit the restrooms, and when you exit the festival venue.
- We recommend using a face mask. Please remember to change your mask to a new one at least once every hour. Here are guidelines for how to use a mask correctly.
- Cough and sneeze into a tissue paper or sleeve. After usage, immediately throw away the tissue paper and wash or use disinfectant on your hands.
- If you do not wish to handle your cloakroom ticket, you can take a photograph of the ticket number with your phone.
Other
- Persons who belong to the risk group are welcome to the events according to their own evaluation of the risk. Risk Groups for severe coronavirus disease.
- Following the official guidelines, we will as much as possible gather information regarding who attended each of the festival venues, in case there occurs coronavirus exposure despite all the safety measures. Providing this information about yourself is voluntary but recommended. As you purchase your ticket through the Tiketti online store, your information will be saved within the Tiketti system. In other cases, you may leave your contact information during the event at the concert venue. We will keep the contact information that is collected at the venues for four weeks, after which we will delete this information appropriately.
- If you have questions regarding the measures implemented due to the coronavirus, or any other questions regarding attending the events, please feel free to contact the Tampere Music Festivals office by email at: music@tampere.fi or by phone at +358 40 647 5760.
